This site has been created by me, a proud owner of a ROOST valve amp from the 1970's. It is in no way an official site - I have no affiliation with the ROOST company or its current owners. Nor are these pages original. The information displayed here is merely a collection of web clippings from websites which have now disappeared and, unfortunately, have not been captured too well by the wayback machine.
ROOST amps were originally made in Southend in the UK with production moving to LEEDS after the company's acquisition by FAL. The range included 50w, 100w and 150w models in head form, 50w and 100w combos, a range of speaker cabinets, power amps and mixers. They sound like Hi-Watts with a bit of Sound City thrown in. Or, that's how they're often decribed. I cannot vouch for that as I've not played through either but I do know that my ROOST 50w reverb combo sounds pretty amazing both with guitar and bass.
These amps occasionally appear on eBay and the like for 'vintage' prices and, like all vintage valve gear, they probably need a bit of TLC by now. I would always recommend that any servicing on valve amps is done by a qualified technician but perhaps they might find the schematics useful while performing any repairs
